Baxter had a play date this week with my cousin’s dog Max. It went pretty well; there was a lot of butt sniffing, several dog erections, and some humping. Baxter has become a pretty good hump-deflector from spending time with my parents’ dog. She may be elderly, but she’s a little minx.  Baxter has mastered this little back half side swipe to fend off the humpers.

Max is also a shih-tzu and looks similar to Baxter. My cousin’s seven-year old son noticed this and exclaimed, “They’re just like twins! But one’s older! And bigger! And they have different faces!” Yes, that sounds just like twins…
